The Library Staff
This page introduces Niebüll Public Library and its staff.
At present Niebüll Public Library has 3347 active readers of all ages. About 45% of them live in Niebüll. In 2009 we had 170.469 loans. One reason for this positive balance is for sure our extensive media stock. At present we offer about 38.000 books, CD´s, DVD´s, video games, cassettes, magazines, newspapers, CD-ROM´s much more.
But our library isn´t only known for its media stock. Besides of this, Niebüll Public Library is a location for many cultural events. Periodically exhibitions and author readings take place in the rooms of our library. In 2003 one exibition was "At the sea - winterly impressions of Sylt" from Hans Jessel, 2008 it was "Alexander Rodtschenko and the "Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival" with the topic Russia and in 2009, for instance, the Norwegian author Anne B. Ragde read from her popopular books.
